Intel Core 2 Duo VS AMD X2

Currently i’m plan to upgrade and changing my 4 years old Intel P4 2.8Ghz system to the newly and so so updated specification. maybe looking for cpu with intel duo core inside or changing to other side with amd x2 athlon system which can savings my $$$ because right now amd processor and motherboard more cheaper from intel side. then i’m planning to get 2Ghz per stick RAM * 4 DIMM slot in my new cpu set which will be total count 8Ghz max.

I already asked my friends on my favorite online forum to get their help and advise about what parts, model or specs. should i chose.

one of them reccomend below items to me.. can get all of it below RM1500 in my area or well know in Lowyat Plaza Kuala Lumpur. from the spec he advise i think to change to other RAM model because adata didn’t produce 2Ghz per stick RAM. maybe to get kingston or corsair model.

i’m not high end / gaming user that need high spec and latest product for their pc. maybe i should consider to buy what my friends advise above on this weekends.
